Bringing APECS closer to Europe’s national semiconductor ecosystems
APECS roadshows take place across Europe, bringing together companies, research organizations and other key stakeholders to discuss technological developments, industrial needs and opportunities for collaboration. Rather than concentrating activities in one location, the roadshows enable direct exchange with regional innovation actors, addressing local priorities and challenges.
Each roadshow combines technology presentations, expert discussions and visits to relevant facilities and partners. Participants gain insights into pilot line capabilities, current developments in advanced packaging, and application areas, while having the opportunity to engage with the APECS team. At the same time, APECS experts gain firsthand insights into industrial needs, emerging application areas and regional priorities, helping to shape the continued development of its services as well as to ensure uptake of pilot line results.
Networking is a central element of every roadshow. Through presentations, on-site visits, and interactive discussions, participants exchange perspectives on technology requirements, manufacturing challenges, and opportunities for future collaboration. Roadshows encourage dialogue and practical knowledge sharing beyond traditional conference settings. They are designed to make APECS more accessible, strengthen partnerships within the APECS community across Europe, and support long-term success beyond the project's duration.
